Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 May 2026
1. About these terms
By creating an account or using EduWizz (the “Service”), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. Who can use EduWizz
- Students under 13 may register but must have a parent or guardian provide consent before using the account.
- Students 13–17 register on their own behalf, but use is conditional on the student's parent or guardian agreeing to these terms.
- Adults (18+) — students, parents, or teachers — register and use the Service on their own behalf.
- By registering you confirm that the date of birth, email, and other details you provided are correct.
3. Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your password and login link safe.
- Don't share your account or impersonate someone else.
- Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
4. What the Service does (and doesn't) promise
EduWizz helps you study with a question bank, AI-generated study materials, and an AI tutor. We work hard to keep content accurate, but the Service is provided “as is”. AI-generated content can contain mistakes. Do not rely on AI output for high-stakes decisions; always verify important answers with your teacher, textbook, or another trusted source.
5. AI output
AI-generated content (flashcards, quizzes, lesson explanations, tutor responses) is produced by a third-party AI model. We add prompts and filters to keep it appropriate, but we cannot guarantee output is correct, complete, or suitable for your situation. You retain ownership of any content you submit; we have a non-exclusive licence to process and display that content within the Service on your behalf.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to do another person's homework, exam, or assessment in a way that violates your school's academic-integrity rules.
- Try to extract, scrape, or resell our question bank or AI output.
- Submit content that is illegal, abusive, threatening, sexually explicit, or that infringes another person's rights.
- Attempt to bypass age-gating, parental consent, or moderation.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attack the Service.
7. Free, paid, and changes
EduWizz is currently in beta and most features are free to use with no credit card required. We plan to introduce affordable monthly subscriptions in the future. When that happens we'll give existing users reasonable advance notice, the chance to keep using whatever free tier we offer at the time, and a clear way to opt in or out before any charges apply.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend or remove an account that breaches these terms or that puts other users at risk. Where possible we'll explain why and let you correct it.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, EduWizz isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, for results that depend on your study choices, or for the accuracy of AI-generated explanations. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded.
